Name of Job : Watchman cum Fireman
Education :
- 10th Standard passed.
- 6 months Fireman Training course from All India Institute of Local Self Government, Nehru Bhavan, Vadodara or equivalent.
Experience:
5 years service in Army, Navy, Air force, Semi- Government Forces and Police or Home Guards, or Village Protection Forces.
Also have Physical Standard:
• Height – 165 Cm.
• Weight – 50 Kgs.
• Chest – 81 Cm.
• Chest – 86 Cm. (on expansion)
• Vision – 6/6 without wearing glasses or any other aid. Night or color blindness shall be disqualification.
Endurance Test:
- Endurance Test for the selection shall be conducted as per the following criteria:
- Should be able to run a distance of 100 meters with 64 Kg weight in one minute.
- Should be capable of climbing a rope or a vertical pipe to a height of 3 meter from the ground.
- Should be capable of clearing a ditch of 2.7 meters (long jump).
Should be capable of climbing an extension ladder.
Age Limit : not more Than Below
- General Candidates : 40 Years
- SC/ST/SEBC/EBC Candidates : 45 Years
- 5 years relaxation
Fees :
- General (UR)/SEBC/EBC Candidates : Rs. 500
- SC/ST Candidates : Rs. 250
Salary Scale:
