1. Educational Qualification
A candidate must possess the following:
- A Degree (Graduation) in Library Science or Library & Information Science from a University or Institution recognized under the Central or State Act or UGC Act, 1956.
- Must possess Basic Computer Knowledge as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services (Classification and Recruitment) (General) Rules, 1967.
- Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
2. Age Limit
